Is it almost Fall

Little Jayden, is now 1 yr old and walking

Well maybe my electric bill will go down, because school has started and I can maybe turn off the air conditioning.

Susie is back in school, at Sky View, as a junior. She is not in the cross country this year, because this summer she completed her training as a CNA and just got a job at Legacy House, an Assisted Living Center. Really nice, she says it is like a hotel. She sometimes works in the Cottage area, for those people who have dementia or alzheimers.

She got to practice her training on me this summer as I was recuperating from another total Hip Replacement. My right hip, so now I have two new hips. Now if I could just take care of the nueropathy in my feet. Hmm... something that I will have to learn to live with, unless some Dr. comes up with slick way of reversing the numbness.

This summer has been eventful, in that I started out the summer getting my hip done and figured I would be recuperating most of the summer, so that is the reason for the air conditioning bill. Yak.
Susie is finding out that working and going to school is not too fun, especially when it cuts into your fun time with friends. She seems to like boys, although she says she doesn't like anyone special. But she will have to do alot of talking to convince me of that.

Sarah has helped Dirk all summer get ready for his mission, and he finally got his papers in and just got his call. He is going to go to Brazil. Sarah cried and is now realizing the reality of it. Two years is a long time, and a sacrafice for both of them to be apart. They have dated for 4 years and so this will be a test of their relationship. I think they have a pretty good foundation and it will be good for both of them. He leaves in December, so they still have some planning to do and some time to be together. Sarah is getting ready to get back into school and will be starting back at USU next week. She is still working at the Bank of Utah and is trying to sell the Jeep, to get a less expensive car, for the gas prices are too high.

Benjamin is living in Richmond with Rod, so we don't see him alot. Once in awhile he will drop by because he is bored. He is working for his Dad in construction and not into school yet. I am still hoping he will get himself into school some day. He is talking to his Grandpa about the possibility of building a house in Richmond, next to his dad. Probably a good idea, with as expensive as houses are becoming. The sooner he can get into one the better off he would be. He is dating several difference girls and just is not all sure what he wants to be, do or have when he "grows up."

He is not sure about this dating thing and wonders if he will find someone he could spend eternity with. He says that is a long time, so he is just not sure about finding the right person.

Tomorrow is a different story. He is pretty funny to listen to. I told him I could relate to this business of being single. It isn't too fun to go places alone, but I am not sure I want it any different right now

Jonathan and Brittany are getting excited, it won't be long, 2+months and they will not be just the two of them any more. They are going to have a little baby boy sometime towards the end of Oct. or maybe sooner. I am excited because having Grandkids is what I live for. Oh and they have a new addition they got this summer. Ace, isn't he cut.

Last week I was able to get a condo over in Bear Lake and take the kids, Christopher,Nicole and my grandkids over. Susie was able to get work off and come too. Sarah, Dirk and Benjamin came over for just Sunday night and we all celebrated Jaxon's birthday. We had the traditional birthday cake, Jaxon's favorite, chocolate cake without frosting. It had chocolate chips and strawberries, so it was very yummy. We got the candle blowing, no matches. So we sang "Happy Birthday" and when we were done, Jaxon blew out the flameless candles. What a kid, he was so funny. It was great.

Monday we spent the day at the beach and silly me, exposed my lilly white feet and legs and of course they got burnt. That on top of the nueropathy, well all I can say is I will not do that again any time soon.

It was so great just to have that time with my kids, I can not express the words at how that felt. My heart just swells with joy. Even though I made it difficult for my Susie to sleep those two nights, it was a great time during the days.

This will have to be our family tradition. I am in the process of reserving the condo again for next summer. This has been the greates thing I have ever done, being able to bring my kids together in one common place for some fun and family times.

We got home and Jaxon started his first day of school and that is a milestone to remember.

Well all is well in the Andeson family and I look forward to a new grandbaby in the fall and the hollidays that are upon us. Coming up, we have Mykenzie's birthday in September on the 4th and then my Birthday, I don't count anymore at the end of September. Then our next great event is the arrival of a new Anderson. A little Jonathan, no, I don't know his name yet, but I am so excited. I will have 4 grandchildren, 3 boys and 1 cute little princess, Mykenzie.

The Hollidays begin, Halloween and then Thanksgiving and my favorite, Christmas. So everyone have a happy fall and holliday season and watch for more to come. I am new at this blogging thing and have not done a great job in keeping up. Hope the rest of my family will start theirs, because what a great way to keep in touch with our growing families.

Love to all,

Janet
